H.E. Mr Anatoly Nikolaevich Korsun

Born in 1947.

In 1972 graduated from the Kharkov Polytechnic University, 1986 – Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

On the diplomatic service since 1986. Occupied different diplomatic posts in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Moscow.

Career abroad:

1986-1991 – Embassy of the USSR in Libya;

1994-1998 – General Consul of the Russian Federation to Belorussia;

2001-2004 – General Consul of the Russian Federation to the Ukraine;

2004-2005 – Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Ukraine.

Since June 2008 – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Botswana.

Diplomatic rank: Minister Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the 1^st class.

Speaks English, Ukrainian and Polish.

Married, has a son.
